Full description
I do enjoy bringing something no longer used 'back to life'!
This was a cameo brooch, made during the 1940/70s, Its made from a type of plastic, possibly called celluloid plastic. Previously cameos would of been carved from materials like shell. This one is the classic coral and creamy white design with the beautiful elegant lady. This switch to plastic could of been down to WW2?
I have used square copper wire to wrap this cameo, I have used a favourite design which displays this cameo beautifully, whilst also holding it secure.
Copper is such a pleasure to work with and so attractive.
Pendant only
Length 74mm
Width 31mm
Will arrive in a sweet jewellery gift box
Materials I used
Vintage cameo
1mm square copper wire
1mm half round copper wire
0.7mm half round copper wire
I will always state in my listings if any recycled materials have been used.
To care for your copper jewellery, try avoiding exposure to moisture and chemicals.
Please remove to bathe or apply lotions or perfumes.
To clean use gentle methods to manage the natural tarnishing process.
