I made a birthday bear on a wooden block for my sister. I noticed she had taken the hat off after her birthday, which gave me the idea of using a box as the base so the hat can be stored at other times during the year.

Full description
A birthday/celebration gift that lasts all year. Just remove the hat and store it in the box.
The elephant is made using needle felting wool, has glass eyes and a removable pink fabric party hat. It measures approx. 12 cm (H) x 9 cm (W) x 11 cm (D)
The elephant is glued to the box.
The box, measuring approx. 5 cm (H) x 7 cm (W) x 7 cm (D), is hand painted green with distressed effect finish, has two metal hinges and a magnetic clasp. The box can be used to store small items, including the animal's party hat. There is an aluminium label, attached with metals pins, with the word "ELEPHANT" imprinted.
Overall measurements (animal and box) are 17 cm (H) x 9 cm (W) x 11 cm (D)
