Full description
Out of the Woods is a snowy winter landscape painting of a dark woodland path leading towards a hill, trees and deer beyond. It is 30x30x1.5inches. The colours are dark purples, peach and white and the style is fluid magical realism. The painting was made in January 2026 after I had walked out from the trees to find some fallow deer staring back at me. The sun was low and shone from the left where it lit up the snow and the deer and cast long shadows from the trees in the distance. This is a real place near where I live where I often see deer and never tire of it. Inspired by the timelessness of nature and the beauty that is always there if you look for it. Painted on deep edge canvas, dark purple edges, ready to hang and comes with certificate of authenticity.
