As a beginner, I loved making granny squares but I didn't know how to turn these little works of art into something useful. This pattern will help you to plan a longer term project that will result in a beautiful cushion cover (short term project - days) or blanket (probably a 2 to 6 months). This pattern is ideal for beginners who want to take the next steps and it is a great stash buster! I hope you enjoy making your blanket.

Full description
PATTERN. This pattern is ideal for beginners and those who have mastered the basics in crochet and are looking for a fun project! This pattern gives complete instructions (UK crochet terms) on how to make a blanket from granny squares measuring up to 1.6m square. Detailed instructions are included for making the granny squares, the number of squares needed, how to construct the blanket, add a border, and other useful hints and tips for selecting colours. Various methods can be used for joining the elements and I have referenced some excellent YouTube videos (and search terms) that show some of these techniques in greater detail.
The PDF will be emailed or posted once payment has been received and I will be happy to answer questions.
