Looking for a meaningful gift for a spring baby? This beautiful handmade blanket is a modern take on a traditional gift, and is guaranteed to bring a bright splash of sunshine colours to the nursery. The handmade gift set includes a blanket (100 by 90 cm), pouch and gift card. The soft blanket is the centrepiece of the set and is constructed from crocheted 'granny' squares in shades of buttercup yellow, lemon, white and contrasting shades of grey. The centre of the unique design is made up of 20 large squares joined with a flat braid stitch to create interest and texture. The cot blanket is set off by the stunning border made of 60 smaller squares and finished with a gentle scalloped edging in white. The border motif is echoed in the complementary lemon, white and grey pouch (12x22 cm) - a useful extra for keep smaller items such as dummies, nail clippers organised whether at home or out and about. The gift set is completed with a gift card (made by Poppy Jane) and which is blank inside for your own message. The blanket is fully washable by hand or with a gentle washing machine programme.
