I first tried wood burning when volunteering with a local mental health charity. I was drawn to the process immediately. I like the challenge of indelible marks - and I love the smell of burning wood as I draw.

Full description
Wolf burned by hand, from a reference photo and using a pyrography (wood burning) pen, on to a 3cm x 12cm wooden bookmark, with a gold coloured tassel.
Finished with my stamp on the reverse.
Inspired my love of animals. As a child I was very scared of the idea of wolves but have grown to admire them.
