All purchases will be delivered with a free bookmark, as shown in the product listing images - (1 per complete order from my shop).

I am an avid writer and artist who has now found more time to create work, so I have been even busier over the last year and a half, rediscovering my love of poetry and getting back to basics when it comes to drawing and illustrating. After previously working in design for many years and gaining a Masters in Fine Art I have now come full circle, but with an increase in confidence to be guided by inspiration and experimentation even more. I am always inspired by many others who have gone before us, such as Ovid and William Blake. NB: A watermarked version is used, in listing images only, just to give greater clarity around colour of illustration and layout/size of poem print.

Work includes the following materials - Canon ink - Black, Magenta, Cyan and Yellow/ 100% recycled white paper/ Waxed silver thread/ Brown, cover paper (180gsm) and further postage/packaging may include - acid free white tissue paper, expandable large letter rigid cardboard envelopes and/or recycled postage bags. Disclaimer/s and copyright information etc., as standard, is included on copyright page at the front of the book. I am not aware of any risks associated with this product and/or packaging.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Do you love poetry and want something rare and unique? ...or as a special gift?
I am a poet/writer and a maker/artist so I have created limited edition, handmade/handsewn books. Limited numbers are available of the first edition in B&W, each one has a label stating the edition number. The booklet contains 9 poems covering various themes, called... A Strangely Beautiful Crash, Wolves at my Door, No Need Left, Dare to Complain, A Fish out of Water, The War I Shall Win, Above and Beyond, At Our Leisure, The Power in Me Arises. All of these poems are illustrated. Title/acknowledgment, copyright/disclaimer, content and author page included, as standard. Reading ages: YA/New Adult/Adult.
The illustrations are originally hand drawn/coloured, with image manipulation software being used to colour correct and to create the layouts for printing the books. All purchased items come with a free bookmark, see image in listing details for more information.
This work is digitally printed on white, 100% recycled paper at high quality with Kraft, acid free, brown cover paper (180gsm). Size is as an A5 booklet and is double sewn with waxed silver DMC Diamant thread.
Whilst care is taken in photographing the piece please be aware that colours can vary according to your monitor settings, also various types of images are listed to give a clearer idea around colour, size and detail. Copyright remains with the creator, L H Davies.
