I love the idea of hiding little amigurumi creatures inside baskets and this is my little tribute to the ever elusive hedgehog.

Meet Hilly the baby hedgehog - usually hibernating this time of year she has made a special appearance for you today.
She is a crochet amigurumi handmade in acrylic and wool blend yarn in red/brown and beige colours with a black embroidered nose - very important for sniffing out a nice juicy grub.
Her acorn basket with a lid is in matching colours - great for camouflage. The basket measures 10cm x 10cm and Hilly measures 7cm x 6cm.
She makes a nice little surprise or birthday gift for a youngster over the age of three years old.
