Hooked on crochet

Hi, I'm Vick Painter and I live in a quiet village in the Staffordshire Moorlands with my husband. I'm now retired and I've got more time for my hobbies - I like to slow things down with some relaxing crochet makes - I sometimes crochet in my craft room up in the dormer or take my work to the settee and put an old film on to watch.

Staying active is important - I like going on walks along the lanes and fields and I've just joined the gym.

I often feel inspired by the countryside in many ways, there is no rush here, the birds and flowers just get on with it without any fuss at all.

And to the observer, nature's colour palettes are always beautiful and in perfect harmony.
