I was wanting to make some new coasters, and I saw a picture of a kit that I liked so I bought it. I wasn’t completely happy with how the coasters and basket were so I changed the design a bit and this design was the result. I thought they would make lovely gifts for people to give so I made a few in different colours.

Full description
Add a pop of colour to your home with these handmade crochet flower coasters. This set includes 6 coasters and a storage basket. The coasters are made with a soft milk cotton blend (casein/acrylic mix). Each has an off white centre surrounded by colour. The colours are yellow, dark blue, and green. The basket is also made with soft milk cotton blend (casein/acrylic mix) and has a removable PETE plastic ring to help keep its shape. When the coasters are all placed in the basket they resemble a potted flower. The basket should be hand washed, but the coasters are machine washable. The coasters are 14 – 15 cm in diameter. The storage basket is 10 cm in diameter and 5.5 cm high. When the coasters are in the basket the height is about 8 cm. These coasters are not only great for glasses and mugs but they are also large enough for small bowls.
