Making calms the chaos in my mad world and empties my stress bucket. So I have always made things. From hobbies like puzzles, lego sets, and scrapbooks to a variety of crafts including cross stitch, beading, loom bands, and crochet. Crochet is my favourite. When I was a child my Memaw gave me a shiny red crochet hook and taught me how to crochet. I never used this gift she gave me until I was grown and decided to crochet a mermaid tail blanket for my daughter. It was at this time that I realised how calming it was and I became hooked. When I see something that looks interesting I have a go at it and so I’m always making something new.
