Full description
I have made a number of these large puppies but this is my first Whippet. He measures 15" (38cm) from his long nose to the start of his tail. Whippets are available in different colours for my first one I chose a Brindle. To obtain the colours I used a combination of different alpaca yarns and additional shades in mohair yarn.
His tummy is stuffed with a heavy yarn to give a little extra weight and a lighter soft filling in the top half to allow for positioning.
The puppy wears a removable neck warmer with a cute bowtie.
This puppy was made by me from a design by Claire Garland. A designer who creates the most realistic animals.
