Twist of Dark creates one-of-a-kind objects using reclaimed, coastal, and natural materials. Driftwood, beads, metal, bone, and found elements are brought together slowly and intuitively, without templates or repetition.
Each piece is allowed to take shape in its own time. Marks, irregularities, and signs of wear are left visible as part of the object’s history rather than corrected or concealed.
The work sits somewhere between adornment and artifact — created for those drawn to tactile materials, quiet intention, and objects with presence.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
This one-of-a-kind wall hanging is made using naturally weathered driftwood, layered chains, glass beads, and metal charms, brought together slowly and by hand.
Each element hangs freely, catching the light and moving gently with the air. The driftwood bears the marks of time and tide, chosen for its shape and presence rather than perfection. Dark, smoky beads and silver-toned chains create a sense of weight and rhythm, while the charms add quiet detail and symbolism.
This piece was created without a fixed plan, allowing the materials to guide the final form. It works beautifully as a small focal piece, adding texture and atmosphere to a space without overwhelming it.
No two pieces are ever the same. This is an individual object, made to be lived with.

This piece is made using natural materials and is intended for indoor display. Please avoid prolonged exposure to damp conditions. As with all handmade items, minor imperfections are part of its character and story.
