Twist of Dark creates one-of-a-kind objects using reclaimed, coastal, and natural materials. Driftwood, beads, metal, bone, and found elements are combined slowly and intuitively, without templates or repetition.
Marks, variations, and irregularities are left visible as part of each object’s history. These works are created for those drawn to grounded, tactile craft and objects with quiet intention.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This one-of-a-kind wall hanging has been created as a quiet object of presence — part adornment, part talisman.
Naturally shaped driftwood forms the structure, bearing the marks of time, tide, and movement. It has been carefully cleaned and left raw, allowing its history to remain visible. From it hang layered strands of beads and metal charms, arranged by hand to create weight, rhythm, and balance.
The materials were chosen not for perfection, but for tone and texture — warm, earthy, and slightly untamed. The piece moves gently with the air, catching light and shadow as it hangs.
This is not a replicated design. It exists as a single piece, made slowly and intuitively, and intended for spaces that hold meaning — altars, creative corners, or rooms that benefit from something grounded and watchful.
Once it leaves, it will not be remade.

This piece is made using natural materials and is intended for indoor display. Please avoid prolonged exposure to damp conditions. As with all handmade items, minor imperfections are part of its character and story.
