Vintage leather football ,up-cycled lamp
Made by myself using a vintage leather football that was bought from a collection of props . I have lightly cleaned the leather ball and mounted on a new ball display plinth. New vintage style gold twist wiring approx 1.5m with a Bakelite style 3amp plug. New vintage style lamp holder with Edison E27 screw bulb fitting (bulb not included) the choice is vast.
This took some working out how to look its best but I think we,ve achieved it. Would look fantastic in any setting but especially a sport room , bar, man cave, or just for any fan of football or vintage items . This is a unique item and wont be able to be repeated until the opportunity arises of finding a really good quality vintage ball that hasn t been kicked to death over the years. Item will also be independently PAT tested for safety. Item can be posted or collected .
My products are up cycled from original vintage and used items . A level of patina and wear and tear is to be expected. This is its unique character and age . The item is up-cycled and re purposed ,the original functionality most of the time will not apply. My items are for display and used as lamps. When up cycle done by ourselves we install all new electrical components and sometimes remove parts of the original item in order to up-cycle. Most items have new wiring, lamp holder ,switch, plug , and come with safety PAT tested .
