Saw this item at a classic car event as a prop and thought what a fantastic unique lamp. i thought out the idea of using a gold satin bowler hat shade which is removable to add to that Jazz vibe

Trumpet is a used item so will have small level of patina. All electrics are new. Return taken if it is because for some reason the lamp fails to work.

Full description
This totally unique lamp has been carefully thought out and up-cycled/constructed by myself. I sourced a traditional little used trumpet of which I have all the original travel case etc. I then did the up-cycle to this stunning talking piece. The timber plinth was made by myself and the trumpet mounted . All new electrics including Bakelite style 3A plug , period correct twisted 3 core cable with inline switch. new lamp holder set into the mouthpiece, Lovely LED vintage style bulb .Independently PAT tested . We then went an extra step . New bulb cage and we sourced a vintage Dunn and co bowler hat with a gold satin lining . This has good value as is and can just lift off and use . The gold satin on the inside reflects the light so well , the effect is "groovy" as they say in the jazz world. This is a total one off .

My products are up cycled from original vintage and used items . A level of patina and wear and tear is to be expected. This is its unique character and age . The item is up-cycled and re purposed ,the original functionality most of the time will not apply. My items are for display and used as lamps. When the up cycle is done by ourselves we install all new electrical components and sometimes remove parts of the original item in order to up-cycle. Most items have new wiring, lamp holder ,switch, plug , and come with safety PAT tested .
