Full description
A novel ornament consisting of a stormy sea with lightning crocheted in different weights of cotton yarn. The tiny sailboat being tossed in the waves is crocheted in fine cotton from a pattern by HappyBerry Crochet . Its mast is made from a short length of cocktail stick. The lightning is strengthened with stiffened craft felt and all the elements of the ornament have been glued and/or sewn in place. The repurposed bone china cup is decorated with gold leaf and is filled with polyester stuffing. The tag reads, ‘Storm in a Teacup’.
