Full description
An original blue cyanotype inspired by the mass of small blooms clustered on each hydrangea flower head. The small individually pressed flowers are arranged in layers, providing interest as some of the blooms are out of focus.
Cyanotypes are one of a kind prints as they are created by exposing light sensitive coated paper to sunlight - each print is affected not only by the composition of botanicals but also by the sunlight conditions.
This 6” x 6” cyanotype is printed on 9” x 9” on 300gsm Snowdon paper and whilst in a frame is shown with a mount. It can be purchased with or without a frame.
