Like my page says, I am inspired by the beauty in mundane everyday things. So, this painting was just about reminding myself that colours can bring joy to me even on the most gloomy days. Plus, I have a deep rooted love for water lilies, they are one of my favourite muses that I keep coming back to. P.S - I love Monet if that wasn’t clear already! XD

Full description
This is an original, hand painted acrylic painting completed over three days on a 6x6 square canvas. It’s unframed but the edges are painted with the back having my signature. It’s inspired by my perpetual love for water lilies and the magic they create in any setting, in this case a blue pond.
The joy here comes from the colours and the brushstrokes - not held back by any technique (though they still attempt to emulate my love for impressionists and Monet). Painted and captured in the warm yellow light setting of my study, it might shine even brighter in natural light.
This is an original painting, not digitally generated. It’s perfect for adding a pop of colour and whimsy to your personal space, shelf, or galleries. Limited edition prints of the same are also available on request - perfect for gifting or a small spot on your wall.
