Full description
This little moth brooch is carefully handcrafted in my studio using brass and bronze, finished with a small freshwater peacock pearl. it’s a delicate yet characterful piece designed to be worn and treasured and will look beautiful on a jumper or jacket.
The lower wings are textured brass, while the upper bronze wings are hand-sawn with a botanical pattern, allowing the brass beneath to show through. The freshwater pearl is naturally irregular in shape, adding to the organic feel of the piece and ensuring each brooch is unique.
A handmade sterling silver pin is securely soldered to the back so it can be safely fastened to a scarf, coat, jumper or jacket.
