'Memories of an Island' - This one of a kind miniature diorama features a view of an island from the shoreline, and is inspired by my memories of first seeing the Isle of Arran from the Argyll coast in Scotland. Each picture I make is completely unique.
The design comes from original drawings which have been transformed into layers of laser cut wood and mountboard. I paint all the pieces by hand and assemble them to form 3d layers and set them into a white glazed wooden box frame. The frame measures approx. 11.5cm; the scene itself measures 7.8cm x 7.8cm x 1.5cm
For photography purposes, this item is pictured without it's frame glass. The final image hopefully gives you an idea of the size of this little framed diorama.
