The owl has been a favourite design of mine for a number of years and has developed over time to this beautiful version. I especially love embroidering the face and adding the detail to his chest.

Full description
Otto the owl is just taking a short break before soaring off into the night sky! This lovely creature has been designed, cut out and handstitched by my own fair hands, using 100% wool felt and wool fabric backing. He has been lightly stuffed, using Herdwick sheepswool to give him a little texture. This would be a perfect gift for nature and woodland lovers, or even Harry Potter fans and fans of whimsy!
This picture is framed with a black painted wooden box frame, measuring 16.5 x 16.5 cm and the aperture is 15 x 15 cm. There is no glass on the front as I want you to be able to see the detail and texture without any impediment and I would love you to be able to touch him, whenever you want to. A hairdryer on a cool setting will get rid of the dust, should any land.
