The inspiration for these earrings comes from the majestic California Redwoods, some of the oldest and tallest trees on Earth. Working with Vavona Burl is a privilege because it allows me to showcase the `bird`s eye` grain - a rare, natural phenomenon that looks like a miniature galaxy within the wood.

I choose this elegant `sling` shape to give the earrings a sense of fluidity and movement, almost like sails catching the wind. By using my laser, I can achieve the perfect balance between this organic, ancient material and sharp, modern design. Every pair is hand-finished with care to ensure that the natural story of the wood shines through.
