I wanted to make more items with the little knitted pieces for a wider audience. Not just babies. I really love Wales and it's culture and language so that is where the inspiration for this framed picture came.

A lovely unique gift with a Welsh flavour. Cwtch is a special Welsh word that can be hard to translate. It is in common use throughout Wales, especially in the south even in the non-Welsh speaking population. This is definition I found which I quite like " a warm affectionate hug, cuddle or snuggle that gives a feeling of a safe place or home."
I have used a good quality light oak MDF frame with clear perspex. It can be hung onto a wall or stood. Frame size: just under 11" x 11" (28cm x 28cm). The little knitted jumper is hand knitted by myself in special yarn and transferred onto my handmade little knitting needles. The yarn has a gradient of blue and teal shades. The text is printed onto watercolour paper in blue ink. The picture has a teal border around it and it is finished with 2 brown paper hearts and framed by a white mount.
Some of the pictures were taken without the perpex as it was too shiny for good pictures.
NOTE: My frames are the only items that will not be posted First Class because of the cost. They will be posted Second Class or with a courier like Evri.
