It all started with one vintage curtain and imagining how beautiful it would be as a bag, deciding upon the best measurements for an everyday bag, one that could contain work items, knitting, a little bit of shopping. I sat down at my trusty sewing machine and the bag came to life and then an adventure to source more vintage curtains.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
A bag that had a past life - it was once a curtain! Stitched, slowly and thoughtfully from upcycled vintage curtain fabric. It has given new life to beautiful material, truly one of a kind.
The name ‘Maria’ is a nod to the iconic film ‘Sound of Music’ where curtains were inventively upcycled.
