Full description
A loom knitted summer scarf knitted with british wool. This is loom knitted with a delicate pattern in aran weight wool. The wool used is spun and dyed in the UK and is made from the wool of 2 types of sheep, blue faced leicester and shetland and some alpaca.
Blue faced leicester adds lustre and bulk, the shetland adds structure and the alpaca adds drape. The mix of these three once dyed provides a variegated green, purple and yellow wool.
Due to the wool it must be gentle hand washed and left flat to dry.
The scarf measures 102cm /40 inch long and 12cm /just under 5 inch wide. It is a summer scarf so is quite light and airy due to the pattern. It will come with a care tag and a loom knit tag.
