This piece was inspired by the idea of being held without needing to ask.
Open hands have always symbolised safety to me – a place to rest something precious, a quiet offering, or a moment of stillness. I wanted to create something that didn’t demand attention, but instead invited pause.
The offering hands were designed as a small altar space – somewhere to place light, intention, or remembrance. A gentle reminder that even in busy lives, there can be moments where we are supported, grounded, and allowed to simply be.
Each one is made slowly and intentionally, as part of The Inner Altar – a body of work centred on presence, calm, and the quiet rituals that help us feel anchored.
Safety information
This item is intended as a decorative altar or home accessory. If using with a tealight candle: Always place on a stable, heat-resistant surface Never leave a lit candle unattended Keep away from drafts, children, and pets Allow the holder to cool fully before handling after use Do not allow the flame to come into direct contact with the surface of the holder. Use only standard tealight candles in suitable metal cups. This piece is designed to hold light gently and safely when used with care and intention.

Handmade offering hands, cast as a single sculptural piece and designed to hold light with intention.
This piece forms a gentle bowl created by open, cupped hands – symbolising protection, rest, and quiet offering. Designed for use on an altar, meditation space, or sacred corner of the home, it holds a tealight candle, small crystals, or personal tokens used in ritual or reflection.
Each piece is individually handmade, with subtle variations in texture and finish that reflect the slow, intentional making process. The soft stone-like surface catches candlelight beautifully, creating a calm, grounding presence rather than a high-gloss decorative object.
