My husband wanted to do something special with his old scout uniform to keepsake his memories from that time. After I turned it into a cushion, I got further requests from friends and family to make cushions for them, and so I started making custom made keepsakes. They're my favourite things to make as I enjoy taking the time to get the best layout and getting such wonderful feedback when people receive them.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
I love making custom keepsake cushions as each one is unique! Using the uniform you provide, I make it into a bespoke cushion cover, taking time to work on the layout of the badges and wording, moving items carefully as needed. After the cover is made, I insert the correct size, hypoallergenic cushion insert before preparing the item for delivery. You will be kept updated about progress throughout.
How long does it take?
Processing times vary based on my current work load. Once I receive your uniform I will get in touch to advise you of a preliminary dispatch date, keeping you updated along the way. The item is usually ready within 14 days. I recommend all items are sent via recorded delivery, and they should include your name and address so I know who I have received the package from. My address will be sent to your email along with instruction for what to do when you place an order. Make sure you check your junk email folder in case you haven't received this. Any queries, please contact me.
Measurements: each cushion measurements are bespoke and made to best fit the uniform provided. Usually between 40-45cm width and length.
Wash instructions: these are based on the clothing provided. The cushion insert will come with washing instructions attached. The cushion cover should be removed before washing. It is removable by unzipping the bottom.
