Hi! I'm Ruth and I live in Barnet, North London, with my young family and trusty labrador. I tried learning to sew years ago and struggled, but decided to try again in 2021 after watching the Great British Sewing Bee and fell in love! From there I started making clothes, mending things but I also wanted to create everyday items using beautiful fabrics. In March 2022 Ruth's Sewing Studio was born and I started selling online via my website www.ruthssewingstudio.com and at local markets. Over time, people have asked me for custom orders and sewing lessons, so my business has expanded to these too! I love teaching people to sew as they realise they CAN learn after all, and watch their confidence soar.

All my items are handmade by me, from my home in Barnet, inspired by things that my family and I love. I hope you'll love them too!
