I was inspired to make this baby squirrel after seeing Folksy theme of the day - Squirrel appreciation day. Woodland creatures are right up my street and I just had to make it.

A tiny crocheted baby red squirrel hiding inside a tiny crocheted acorn basket. Lift the lid and out pops the squirrel.
The squirrel is only 5cm tall and the acorn with its removable lid stands at 10cm tall.
Making this a cute gift for someone who adores squirrels and woodland nature.
