I was inspired by the ancient technique of pin sticking. My designs I have brought this technique into the 21st Century. They are unique and I believe that I am the only Textile Artist doing this.

Full description
This textile wall hanging is entitled, "GEOMETRIC SERIES - one". The technique used to create this wall hanging is, the ancient art of pin sticking. This technique started in the 17th century with pincushion where pins were inserted into a cushion so that the head of the pins outlined the design.
I have used some Margo Selby fabric positioned on a cream silk taffeta fabric. This type of geometric fabric is fabulous for this technique. Pins are used to attached several different types of beads and also Black Swarovski Margarites.
I am, I believe, the only Textile Artists using this pin sticking technique to make 21st designs.
