The woman with a curious mind

I have been an Embroiderer and Textile Artist for over 40 years. My nick-name is "The woman with a curious mind". As a child I made up stories, and was always asking questions and as I got older I researched subjects that pricked this mind of mine.

After retiring as a Legal Secretary, I took up embroidery by doing the City & Guilds Design & Embroidery Course.

My recent work involves Pin Sticking an ancient art which started in about 1650. I now upcycle mannequins, tops hats and tailor's hams and I make unique panels to hang on the wall all using the art of pin sticking.
