Welcome to Stitch Studio: my quiet rebellion against a mass-produced world.
From my home studio in Nottingham, I meticulously craft creatures, packed with character that celebrate retro childhood nostalgia. Using 100% wool felt, my process is slow and intentional. Every hand-cut piece and stitch is an act of intention, sculpting unique personalities from the inside out. These aren’t just decor; they are modern heirlooms and characterful keepsakes designed to nestle on your bookshelves or live among the branches of a seasonal tree.

Full description
A wool felt, mini Pet Portrait would be a wonderful personal keepsake or a meaningful gift. Cut, stitched and shaped slowly by hand, each piece is designed to capture a sense of character and presence, in my signature style.
The bond we share with our animals is loving, loyal and deeply personal. A bespoke, wool mini portrait offers a way to hold onto that presence, a lasting tribute to honour this bond. A small, lasting keepsake and modern heirloom.
Each portrait is:

- Made to be kept, a quiet, lasting way to honour a much-loved companion.
Using your photos of your dog, cat, guinea pig, hamster, rabbit, bird, axolotl, fish or maybe it's something more unusual, and I will make a mini, dangly likeness of it.
Send me photos showing the colour, any distinctive markings and anything else I need to know (email: madebystitchstudio(at)gmail.com) It will take me 1-2 weeks to make your mini pet and I'll keep in touch to let you know how it's going. It will be approximately 6 cms high by 10 cms long, depending on the animal and have a hanging loop so that it can dangle wherever you want it to.
If it's a gift, I'm happy to send it directly to the lucky recipient with a gift note. Just get in touch to chat further about what you want.

This piece is a decorative soft sculpture, loved by grown ups and children but not suitable for play.
