This beautiful Goat hide drum was birthed in December. I'm a trained Sacred Drum practitioner so use drums for healing all the time and my favourite hide to use is Goat, the drum has a wonderful ring and tone to it ideal for healing and journey work.

I stitch all my drum rather than using lacing as here in the UK our climate is more on the damp side and I found all my laced drums would need constant care to keep them tight enough to use in a healing session, circle or journey so I spent time researching other methods and discovered stitched drum which is a much more stable way of creating frame drums, so my drum in normal ambient temperatures stay full of song, and usually in a hot room or high summer just need a gentle spray of water to drop their tone a little. They do still go flat but only in very high humidity and they very quickly regain their tone with gentle heat. I only post to the UK unless we specifically discuss courier arrangements.
