The first of a series of illustrated national and county maps. I have always enjoyed illustrated maps from childhood, and am now thrilled to be creating my own! Eventually hope to do all the counties of the UK plus national maps on particular themes like buried treasure, waterways and steam trains, gardens, ancient sites, myths and legends, and natural wonders. I have already completed maps of Castles of Britain and Ireland, and Castles of Scotland.

Beautiful illustrated map poster of showing many of the astronomy-related places of the British Isles.
I loved doing this map showing as many astronomy-themed British and Irish places as I could fit in. Lots of lovely observatories, some of them beautiful historic buildings and even castles. Plus several pubs that specialise in star-gazing, some dark sky parks, several planetariums and space museums, some annual astronomy events, Newton's house where he discovered gravity, and even the best place to spot flying saucers!
A perfect print for anyone who is interested in astronomy, and British and Irish history.
My illustration is professionally printed on quality heavyweight paper.
The size is A4 (210 x 297mm or 8.3 x 11.7 inches), and will be hand-signed in pencil. Your artwork will be sent by Royal Mail and presented in a cello bag with a cardboard back for protection or onward delivery.
Frames shown in some photos are for illustration only. The print is sold unframed.
