This bowl was inspired by the natural movement found in Elm wood. The grain patterns feel almost drawn into the surface, telling the story of the tree itself. I wanted to keep the form simple and compact, allowing those natural markings to take centre stage and turn a small, everyday object into something quietly special.

This small handcrafted bowl is turned from Elm wood and measures approximately 3 and a half inches wide. Elm is known for its beautiful, flowing grain and natural colour variation, both of which are highlighted in this piece. The smooth interior contrasts with the expressive grain markings on the outside, giving the bowl a lovely balance of refinement and character. Ideal for holding small trinkets, jewellery, or simply enjoyed as a decorative accent.
