This sculpture grew from my love of experimenting with unconventional materials and texture. The flowing mop strands allowed me to explore movement and form, while the stone art clay helped give the orangutan a strong, expressive face. The raised posture evolved naturally during the creative process, giving the piece a sense of energy, confidence, and personality.
