Full description
This handmade mala style necklace has been made as a gentle reminder to slow down, breathe and set intentions for the year ahead. Made with 108 beads in a mix of shiny and matt purple hematite, it also features subtle accents of gold hematite and purple tigers eye for warmth and depth.
Each bead is individually knotted onto lilac cotton cord and finished as a continuous loop with no clasp. At the centre sits a lilac ceramic bead stamped with the word dream, a simple prompt to reflect on hopes, goals or quiet intentions. Beneath it are more beads plus a pair of gold coloured hearts, adding a soft, symbolic finishing touch.
Mala necklaces are traditionally used in mindfulness or meditation practices, helping to mark breaths, affirmations or moments of purpose. This piece can be worn for that purpose or simply as a meaningful everyday necklace, something tactile and calming to reach for during busy days.
It's approximately 34 inches long and will arrive in one of my hand stamped linen bags. I use letterbox friendly sturdy cardboard boxes for posting.
