I gravitated toward the moon and sapele because both exist in a state of change. The moon’s beauty lives in shadow and transition, never fixed or perfectly balanced. Sapele reflects that same quality, its grain shifting with the light, revealing depth and warmth as it moves. Together, they allow me to explore asymmetry, motion, and the quiet beauty found in imperfection.
