When robins appear, loved ones are near or so the saying goes! I’m a keen birdwatcher and love to make sure that our garden is prepared with various feeding areas in the Winter to help our British birds in the colder months. Robins are commonplace where we live and this pretty orange breasted bird is one of the most eye catching birds.
I have my very own Needlefelted Robin who lives on my Winter coat collar which I bought from a crafter friend a few years ago and now that I have the needlefelting bug, I decided to create my own version to put in my shop.

My needlefelted creature collection has a new addition in the form of the ever popular Robin.
I named this little fella Reuben!
Although the description of this garden bird is “Robin redbreast”, they actually have more of a bright orange breast which I have mimicked in my design to keep the authentic look.
He has a metal pin attached so that he can be worn as a brooch. Pin him to your favourite Winter coat or bag or indeed, keep him at home and pin him to your curtains!
