Full description
Traditional red, green and gold. My Christmas Red Poinsettia slow stitching kit is full of vintage, pre-loved and factory waste textiles, haberdashery and trims. Ideal for embellishing Christmas clothes or making small craft projects, as well as slow stitching and textile art.
In the box you will find an Introduction to slow stitching and stitch guide, a piece of firm calico fabric as a foundation for stitching onto, and lots of small snippets of vintage or salvaged fabric and haberdashery trims. There is also co-ordinating embroidery threads, and a sewing needle and pins.
VINTAGE AND PRELOVED TEXTILES - this is one of my larger boxes and has over 40 pieces:

- Embroidery motif salvaged from embroidered tablecloth
- Scraps of vintage velvet curtains
- Piece of vintage striped Japanese silk

I use items that are sadly too fragile or damaged to use for their original purpose, but they are still beautiful. The pieces in your box are carefully salvaged, but due to their age may have small marks or tears.
