An asymmetrical necklace? Amazing! I was experimenting with my wire work one evening, trying to create different shapes and objects. It wasn't long before I thought of a butterfly, but there was one problem... butterflies can't just be made out of wire! You miss their beautiful colours on their wings. Luckily, I am a big fan of resin. The pink shiny resin gave the sad little butterfly beauty, colour and a smile. It still wasn't enough though. Butterflies are unique -- so how can the necklace be the same? That's when the asymmetrical shape came into mind to create one of my favourites -- the Butterfly Beauty.

Full description
Satinless steel wire wrapped into a butterfly shape and dipped into baby pink mica and resin. The wire is then hammered into place to keep the shape secured and above is a multicoloured resin butterfly gem. The necklace hangs asymmetrically off to one side to give it a unique feel that will have everyone asking about it.
