Precious woods are something really special. We are drawn to the complexities of grain, the glorious richness of their colours and their sleek, marble-like handfeel. Nick works these precious woods with sensitivity, care and respect - knowing how important they are as specimens to be enjoyed by future generations.
We source our precious woods from trusted importers who have demonstrated their passion for, and strict compliance with lawful international wood trading.

Full description
We present an Ebony seven tree boxed set collection crafted by Nick Titmus, Artisan Woodturner, in his workshop in Nottingham, UK.
This Precious Woods Collection is a breathtaking forest crafted from two species from the Diospyros genus, often referred to as true rosewoods. It comprises four trees crafted from Pale Moon Ebony ( Diospyros malabarica) and three trees crafted from Gaboon Ebony (Diospyros crassiflora). These trees have three ‘skirts’ and measure 7.5 cm in height.
Pale Moon Ebony is a native to Laos and southeast Asia and is not listed in the CITES Appendices. Gaboon Ebony is native to Equatorial West Africa, and is listed in CITES Appendix 2.
