KOADE is a mother-and-son founded brand, born from memory and meaning. Our scented candles are inspired by our late nan, who lived with dementia. While memory became difficult, scent remained powerful, helping her reconnect with moments through familiar smells.
The scent of fresh-cut grass. A greenhouse on a summer’s day. A log fire in winter. Simple, everyday aromas. But deeply evocative.
These memories inspired KOADE: creating candles with familiar, powerful scents that bring moments, feelings and stories back to life.
Safety information
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candle away from children and pets. Remove all packaging before use. Do not burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep candle away from flammable materials, sources of heat, overhanging objects and polished surfaces. Place candle in an upright position on a secure, heat resistant surface. Do not move a burning candle. Candle containers may become hot during use. Do not touch or move a candle once lit. Do not move candle container when wax is liquid, allow for wax to completely cool and harden. Do not place candle in a draft. Extinguish candle immediately if it smokes, flickers repeatedly or the flame becomes too high. Extinguish the candle with a snuffer, taking care not to damage the wick. Always snuff out the flame. Do not blow out. Keep the wax pool clear of matches and other debris to avoid flaring. If the flame contacts the side of the container, never allow the candle to remain burning. Always leave at least 20cm between burning candles. Never allow candle to burn for longer than 4 hours. Not suitable for use outdoors. Never use candle if there is damage to the container. Always trim wick to 3mm - 5mm before lighting and remove wick trimmings. Do not allow the candle to burn down completely. Stop using candle completely when approximately 10mm of wax remains.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Bring warmth, depth and festive spice into your home with KOADE’s SPICE candle. A rich blend of orange, clove, cinnamon and winter fruits, hand-poured in London using natural coconut, rapeseed and soy wax for a smooth, comforting seasonal scent.
SPICE evokes the feeling of winter nights in softly glowing lights, shared laughter, mulled wine and that unmistakable sense of warmth. Bright notes of orange zest and clementine open the scent, followed by warming clove and cinnamon, and grounded with juicy plum and sweet raisin for a perfectly balanced festive fragrance.
Each candle is poured by hand in small batches using our signature natural wax blend, designed for a clean, even burn and beautiful scent throw. Housed in a refined glass vessel, SPICE is as elegant as it is inviting timeless, seasonal and made to linger in memory.
