KOADE is a mother and son founded branded. Scented candles that were inspired by our late nan who passed away from dementia. Although she struggled to remember in her late life, one of the senses that always helped her was smell. Simple, but powerful smells. The smell of fresh cut grass, the smell of a greenhouse on a summers day. The smell of a log fire in winter. These simple, but important scents inspired us to create KOADE. Simple scents that are familiar and powerful.
Safety information
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candle away from children and pets. Remove all packaging before use. Do not burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep candle away from flammable materials, sources of heat, overhanging objects and polished surfaces. Place candle in an upright position on a secure, heat resistant surface. Do not move a burning candle. Candle containers may become hot during use. Do not touch or move a candle once lit. Do not move candle container when wax is liquid, allow for wax to completely cool and harden. Do not place candle in a draft. Extinguish candle immediately if it smokes, flickers repeatedly or the flame becomes too high. Extinguish the candle with a snuffer, taking care not to damage the wick. Always snuff out the flame. Do not blow out. Keep the wax pool clear of matches and other debris to avoid flaring. If the flame contacts the side of the container, never allow the candle to remain burning. Always leave at least 20cm between burning candles. Never allow candle to burn for longer than 4 hours. Not suitable for use outdoors. Never use candle if there is damage to the container. Always trim wick to 3mm - 5mm before lighting and remove wick trimmings. Do not allow the candle to burn down completely. Stop using candle completely when approximately 10mm of wax remains.
