This set of four Hurricane cards includes designs from my range of aviation cards, all taken from my original oil paintings, created to commemorate the bravery of the pilots involved in the Battle of Britain, 1940, during World War 2.
The cards included are:
- 'The Polish Defence' - Hurricanes of F/O. S. Witorzenc and P/O. P. Zenker, 501 Squadron, Royal Air Force, 1940.
- 'Stirring the Hornets' Nest' - Hurricanes of ‘Treble One’, No. 111 Squadron, near Kenley, 1940.
- 'Two Minutes to Close' - Hurricane of F/Lt. H. a' B. Russell, 32 Squadron, Royal Air Force. Sussex, 1940.
- 'Brief Peace over the Estuary' - Hurricane of No. 111 Squadron, August 1940.
The card sets come packed in a box with an attractive branded paper band, wrapped in tissue.
Each card comes with a high quality white envelope and is presented in an OPP wrap for protection.
Professionally printed on ultra white 300 gsm card for excellent colour and image quality with a soft satin finish. Single side coating for easy writing on the inside.
The card is FSC Certified, pH neutral, Long life certified, Chlorine and heavy metal free.
