Recycled Sterling Silver Handmade Opal Cross Pendant
Silver cross set with a 5 mm triplet Opal
The silver has been flame textured (reticulated). Using the flame from torch and taking the metal to the point of destruction then taking away the flame, leaving a unique texture on the metal.
Inspiration my travels in Scotland and the Scottish isles. The Isle of Iona is a great inspiration where the Book of Kells was written by Saint Columba.
All over Scotland we have ancient Celtic, Pictish and Norse ancient sites.
