When you look at weathered rocks and stones do you wonder how the moss got there? Most people think that moss spreads by spores and little fragments carried on the wind. I used to be one of those people until I managed to spot a couple of these adorable stone moss gatherers creeping in and out of a rock wall. These incredibly shy and nervous fellows spend their entire lifetime careful carrying baby mosses and their spores all over the earth and depositing them lovingly on stone surfaces.
Moss gatherer, Norman, is obsessed with building stone cairns before covering them in moss! Please keep a close eye on him or he will soon be stacking everything in your house!
Entirely handmade and one of a kind, you will receive Norman and his latest cairn stack as shown in the photos!
N.B. Both cairn stacks conceal a handy wooden dowel to stop them falling over!
