The delicate intricacies of bare winter tree branches and the patterns they create inspired this unique blue and white fine bone china mug. Two blue birds are depicted in mid flight on the inside of the mug.
This would make a lovely fine bone china Christmas gift.
The original designs for these fine bone china mugs were created using the old photographic process of Cyanotype in which the solution used reacts with sunlight to produces distinctive blue tones.
Taking inspiration from the strong British tradition of blue & white ceramics, Sarah realised her delicate blue & white Cyanotype designs naturally lent themselves to being applied to pottery. Sarah is now delighted to bring you her unique collection of fine bone china that hopes to bring a little of our wonder in the intricacies of nature into our homes.
Each fine bone china mug features 'The Way to Blue' logo on the base.
