Full description
This characterful bird with funky hair style is part of my collection of stained glass standing pieces called Birds with Attitude. These birds have been inspired by my curiosity about birds behaviours.
This particular piece have been made from rich emerald green stained glass called Uro by Yough. This stained glass have a beautiful depth of colour and ring mottled texture that comes alive with change of light. I love working with this glass.
The bird's 'hair do', tail and stand stand have been from copper wire and manipulated by hand to achieve desired shapes.
These birds bring smile to so many of my clients and are a popular gift for pretty much any occasion.
The bird will be posted to you usually on the day of placing an order but never longer than within three days and will arrived safely packaged using environmentally friendly materials. If your order is a gift for someone, you can request gift wrapping and/or UK postage directly to gift recipient.
